This is the mail as it arrives through your door. Below is unfold and the reverse side.

When the mail arrives you will only see the middle section of the front appearing to be just an ordinary netball player. Once the top and bottom flaps are lifted the head and leg reveal the real image. That this is 'no normal competition' as it is for both males and females of all abilities and interests.

On the inside the details of the competition are explained.

I have edited the design and have taken on board some suggestion mage by '2000 trees'. The sound bars are now more important to the design and are made up of trees. And have taken away the music notes as I felt these were too literal and didnt fit the design.

2000 Trees music festival t-shirt design

This is my first draft at a t shirt design for '2000 trees' music festival. I wanted people to know it was a festival that promoted green issues and awareness as well as celebrating a great live festival experience. They want to have less commercial emphasis and be more about the love of music. I think this design works for both genders and can work in/on any colour.

This was an opportunity for Vis Comm third year students to show off their new typefaces. It was such a successful event with some great work form everyone, it was fantastic to see what everyone had achieved. Thanks to everyone that came to support us.

Above: My work on the wall at the far left. Unfortunately I feel my poster does not stand out amongst all the other great designs, this would be something to improve on. However I am very happy with my typeface design.

Madison Clothing

Branding of a new fictional clothing brand for the Tesco label, aimed at young girls between the ages of about 8-12. I have created and brand name and its values, a logo, clothes tags and the look and feel of the stores experience. These designs are based on the ideas and concepts of dolls and doll houses, as they are toys that young girls play with and use them to reinact real life adult situations. I have used these for the displays for the clothing, for example going for coffee and shopping with friends etc.

Iris Potential competition

A competition to show off your ability, show your interests and stand out from everyone else, which led to spending a day at Iris Potential.

An illustrated guide to slang language for our friend whom is deaf, as he struggles to understand slang and would automatically take the literal meaning for words. This guide helps him to understand the slang definitions of these words through comical illustrations and detailed but easy-to-follow definitions.

Photolibrary directmail

...the letter is personalised to each individual and directly written to them. Inside the envelope is a collection of intriguing sepia photographs with Victorian-style decorative edges each embossed with the Photolibrary logo...

Experimental printing maquettes

These pieces are experimental maquettes that I created using different hand-made printing techniques. I absolutely love experimenting with printing and find you can make some amazing effects. The overall solution for this project was to design a shopping bag for a store that specialises in unique and creative costume designs.

Orion book covers

A new design for the classic sci-fi Orion book collection. With these design I aim to attract a new younger audience that are unlike the stereotypical sci-fi geeks. So this design is fresh, modern and intriguingly exciting. The idea of these are based on signs and symbols that carry a meaning behind them and at a closer look they represent the synopsis of each book.

Breakthrough Breast Cancer

An awareness poster that I created for Breakthrough Breast Cancer. The purpose of this was to make women to be more aware of breast cancer and to advise them to check their breast regularly. The idea behind this was the relationship between the growing changes of nature and how it can be seen similar to noticing the changes in your body and that the leaves can turn green again when the winter is over. But it is important for them to understand checking regularly and catching it early will increase the chances of survival.
